A follow on from my last post,
There is a small (1.5m) but decidedly ancient looking standing stone located on the flanks of the halvasso valley near constantine in cornwall. My friend Sam has chatted to some locals who believe it is a prehistoric menhir and I have been meaning to submit it as a new site but was first wondering if anyone has any corroborative info or knows the site? The stone is located in a prominent, near hilltop location and is surrounded by other large prostate moorstones. It has certainly been erected,
stands at the edge of a field and basically just looks and feels right. Is very close to the former sites of Mean Toll and Maen Pearn in an area that once represented a very significant megalithic hotspot. Please help if you can,
