in my daily paper today-"BY GUM, IT IS CHEWY"
archaeology student sarah pickin has found a 5,000 year old piece of chewing gum.she spotted the lump of birch bark tar, complete with neolithic tooth prints ,in finland.
it is thought it was used as an antiseptic for gum infections, and as a glue.
