Gah hah hah!! Nothing like a bit of imagination when it comes to book covers. Not surprising really given the dire range of megalithic pics on the large photo libraries. It's Stonehenge and the left overs..
The Chris Scarre edited book is good though apart from a few minor errors in the Irish section, the other book has the better cover pic though.

Even the Orkney-Mainland Map listed under one of them is dangerously close.

I think I sold Thames and Hudson a photo for their book above so they have done their picture research. I suppose they just like cliche covers.
