Flatcap,
I have worked on that site, once whilst eating my sandwiches, where I shouldnt have been, a field opened up in front of me, you would not argue with what was in the silos.
How many UFOs are seen around this place?
They must be concerned about what is there?
And the drinking water of Leeds is sourced from just below this site.
Oh what a tangled web we weave?
Flouride will keep them happy, until they descend into alsheimers?

I've lived in and around Leeds for most of my life, and as far as I was aware Yorkshire Water are one of the few regional water companies that *don't* flouridate their drinking water supplies.
Maybe they have started to flouridate it recently and my info is now out of date?... I'd be interested to find out though if they do and when they started.
Cheers

David Raven,
Thars reet lad, too skinny to pay for any extra in't water.
I miss the Leeds water, it is up to the regional companies whether to flouridate or not, and I believe there are government grants to encourage them to.
To keep us healthy?
It does occur naturally in small areas, but I understand that flouride is a by product of aluminium, and hard to dispose of, easy if they can dillute it into the water.
If they get their figures wrong though, it causes cancers, so how do you know if they put a bit too much in?
A sobering thought about Leeds water, above the abstraction point near Pool, there are some 30 plus sewerage outlets into the Wharf, what goes around , comes around?
I was more concerned about what comes out of Menwith hill, with Fewston resovoirs just below that place, would you believe what the Amerians tell you?

Probably help if everyone knew what you were talking about.....it's FLUORIDE not flouride!
This is Fluorine with another element or radical - as in sodium fluoride....the active ingredient in toothpaste. And yes Fluorine is a common naturally occuring element....be hard to get away from it! Mithra.
