"A MASS BLOG for the national record. The History Matters campaign has designated October 17 a day for the public to make historic. We have chosen 'an ordinary' weekday of no particular significance to ask you to write a one day on-line diary."
See here for more details if interested:

Nudge - if some historic site crossed paths with you in your everyday business on Tuesday, you have until the end of October to write it up for the History Matters campaign. Read their FAQ for more info if interested.

"Who owns the copyright of my diary?"
The copyright for alll materials that are submitted to http://www.historymatters.org.uk belong to History Matters and its partners. This means that we will be able to publish and use any materials freely. For further information please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
Hmmm - remember all content you post to the Portal continues and will always be owned by you, the poster. This is very often not the case for other web sites. Always check the small print (including ours, which are at the bottom of every page).
