There I was idly surfing, visiting this site from the Faroe Islands (don't ask) when lo and behold in the title pic in the middle of the screen - some stones. (Which I presume are modern)

Andy b, as this is a bit Faroe out, shouldnt it be in the alternative section?
Why are you surfing the faroe Islands?
Maybe Merlin moved them there?
Or Pete G?
Do you think they came from Wales?
There are a few around there I believe?

Har Har. Also notice they are hardly making friends with their assertion that slag=english !

| I looked at this site with interest. Why do you suggest that those stones are modern.? Orkneys and Shetlands have similar sites. those stones appear to be erected on a roundabout. Is it a henge that has been preserved? May be worth looking into. I can't see people of faeroes importing such stones just to copy a dolmen. The first known settlers were Irish monks who took sheep there, hence the name Faeroes. Roy
