Many thanks

Don't know what the official line is but I've always walked down the side of the field. Never had any problems.

While you're on the subject of getting to Little Meg from Long Meg.. is there any link to a map showing which fields to walk through? If not, perhaps someone could draw a simple diagram, showing the farm and road through circle as references too, and scan into Meg P so everyone can find it?
I picked up a slim walkers' booklet on 'Lacy's Caves and Long Meg' in an old book shop recently, but despite showing the fields, Little Meg wasn't marked. (It could have actually been just off the top of the map!)
I tried once and couldn't find it, felt as if I was trespassing, and gave up. Checking out the 'streetmap' on Little Meg site page, it looks easier to drive up the road and access it from there IF there's parking nearby.

I would assume there is no pedestrian access across the fields... looking on Flash Earth it seems going around the block is what is required.
As for streetmap, I find it the most quirky and un-user friendly of all the online maps... multimap suffices, googlemaps are excellent. Google is becoming the Borg of online activities (if you're familiar with Star Trek next generation!).
May be visiting Little Meg soon, so should I gain any information, I'll let you know.
Cheers

I don't know of any footpath between the two. I usually go by car and park at the side of the road near the entrance to the field in which Little Meg sits, then walk up the side of the field. The stones are actually at the edge of the field.
