Just been looking at aerial photos of Stonehenge, avebury and uffington (multimap.com) What I see may be surface features, but I have read that subterranean features may also be seen, like 'foundations' causing a difference in vegetation. To the west of stonehenge is a triangular light patch with distintive lines. A letter F and other lines. To the east of the castle at Uffington there seems to be a figure of a much larger horse. around Avebury are many features that don.t appear on the map. A dark circle between Avebury an Silbury Hill. What am I looking at? are they surface or my imagination. rbatham

the marks near Avebury and Silbury are the remains of cropcircles in the fields.

PeteG,
Your rose coloured sceptical glasses are blinding you ?
The reply was to our Australian friend rbatham, whom you informed that the circles were crop circles.
As I know that most stoneheads are touchy about such things, I felt it better to inform him of a forum where he would be able to talk about the subject you informed him of, without dirision engulfing him.

| Not really interested in crop circles. I've seen a few pictures on our news. I beleive they were hoaxes anyway. We had a few over here.

rbatham, belief is a strange thing?
I believe what I find myself, not what others want me to BELIEVE.
Look at what your eyes can see, and ask, what is that ?
remember though, that there are those that don't want you to say what you see, and will disrupt .
