So long and thanks for all the pix! Having been photo editor since 2003 and looking at something like 15,000 of your photos - I need a break. Too much of a good thing is a bad thing and I feel over stuffed and jaded with all thing prehistoric. So I am standing down as photos and features editor as I believe it is not in the Portal's best interests to remain when my own enthusiasm is diminished.
I shall continue to contribute to the Dark Ages Portal and hope that one day my interest in prehistory will be re-kindled.
I leave the Portal with very many regrets. I leave TMA with no regrets whatsoever.

What can I say. A great loss for the Megalithic Portal.
Hope you stick around in this space though.

A big loss to us all Peter.
Best wishes for your future, and hope to still get comments and pictures from you.

Thorgrim, We could hardly be described as buddies, but, I have always admired you, you have always said what you thought, and I have listened, I believe a man true to his beliefs, is a man indeed, and you have been arrow true to yours.
You may not believe this, but your post saddened me.
I wish you well, and true to my belief, I wish you positive energy, so that you bounce back soon.

Thanks Peter for everything you've done so far, you have been a stalwart taking us from 4000 to 20,000 photos in the gallery, playing a big part in the various competitions and quizzes and everything else.
Cheers,
Andy

Goodbye Thorgrim. I'm sure we'll all miss you.
If you're ever in S.Wales, please get in touch as I'd love to meet you in the flesh.
