Posted by llafian: The accepted meaning of the place name of Henllan is an ancient spiritual site. I was born at Henllan Owen wich is approximately a mile north of Castell Mawr and just over a mile east of Castell Henllys. My resurch into my family history states that where I was born was my ancestral home. My questions currently are;who was Owen and is there a conection to either site.
I have had further experiences on two other nerby sites. The first is Pentre Ivan, where every time I visit and walk beneath the capstone, my eyes stream uncontrollably, and it takes great effort to get out from under the stone.
The remaining site is perhaps the most magical, it is Cerrig Meibion Owen(there's that name again)................more next week.
