Tuesday, 21 February, I read the good news on the Thornborogh Site being saved in an open meeting in the afternoon by the North Yorkshire County Council in Masham. But I am still keeping my fingers crossed because the Corporation Tarmac is bent on appealing the decision. I feel people will have to act swiftly to set up things there as they should be to protect the site and keep up peoples' interest and support. Here is the article.

Cheers,
Partlow

You are perfectly correct, Partlow. People here are crowing because they think they have won a victory. Its not over yet by a long way.

Quite right Peter & with the probability of a further appeal to John Prescott if the current appeal fails....., you can picture the scenario, another jag in the driveway.

Yep - its not over 'till the fat man sings and he has overturned local decisions often enough. You need a lot of tarmac when you drive two jags

What a witty reply! Clever man!!!

(I didn't realise there was a forum page when I added my remarks, a minute ago, to the Thornborough Henges site page.
OK, I'm just a dreamer.......)
