Stansted airport plan to demolish 30 listed buildings and two ancient monuments – so now’s the time to give them an environmental award!!!

Anybody out there got more info??

Stansted is right on my doorstep. See: http://www.stopstanstedexpansion.com/

Still time to buy my Christmas card (30,000 copies printed which will raise £15,000 to fight the expansion) You can also order next year's brilliant calendar!

Yes - its horribly true between 25 and 30 listed buildings are going to be demolished plus unknown archaelogy going under concrete forever! The website given above shows photos of the beautiful buildings that will be flattened.

Thanks folks!
Have had a look and it would be an absolute disaster if it goes ahead!
Have searched the on-line O.S. maps but cant find any ancient monuments.

Any ideas?

Pete
