Does anyone have any stories of stones being struck by lightning?
I was lucky (or stupid) enough to get this shot recently.

One of the stones at the Ring of Brodgar was split by lightning, there's a plaque beside it giving the date if I recall correctly.

Will have to trawl my files to see if I've got a pic.

thanks RM,
my memory isn't what it used to be but I vaguely recall a stone on Bodmin Moor being reported as split in the not too distant past.
