Was thrilled with the find made by Scott on the Tullibardine Road, Auchterader, of a hand print on one of the stones recently cleared and described. This is the hand of Lough, Sun God of the Celts - if the great heros of Celtic mythology might be called "gods".
This find wonderfully fills a gap in my search for links in the Pictish/Celtic and Christian syncrenicity of the Dark Ages.
Please - are there any more of Lough's hands out there? These hand prints are quite distinctive, flat with fingers extended and the thumb held tightly against the hand so that the symbolism of the number five for mankind and the pentagram of solid geometry is unmistakeable.
All help to find more examples will be greatly appreciated.
