Does anyone know anything about the tall oblong stones with narrow vertical oblong slits, which are found in Cyprus? At a recent local dowsers group meeting, our 'leader' was showing us slides of these from his recent holiday. (I forget exactly where they were, but he usually stays in the Polis/Paphos area.) Two of these were covered over by a roof, with open sides, to protect them, but there were some fallen in the vicinity, and one upright in a nearby field.
Thanks for any help.
