Tallest in Wales (as far as I am aware) is the Fishstone on Glanusk Estate between the A40 and the River Usk close to the village of Tretower to the west of the market town Crickhowell in Powys.
can't remember the height offhand, but I posted up a photo of it on the Modern Antiquarian.
not as bulky as Bryn Gwyn, but probably taller.
Close by is one with the highest elevation in Wales, Maen Llwyd up on the Black Mountains.

The largest pyramid in Mexico and in the world BY VOLUME is the Great Pyramid in Cholula, not the Quetzacoatl pyramid. Cholula is 450 X 450 metres(1476 X 1476 ft) & is 66 metres high (217 ft). By volume it is 4.45 million cubic metres. Probably the biggest purpose- built structure in the world. Giza is 2.6 million cu. metres. The Iraq tells are just mud-brick "ruins" of towns, built one upon the other over many years/centuries, aren't they?

The Grand Menir Brise has a pretty good claim http://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=9311 but pretty sure that some of the Egyptian stile(?) are bigger.
Do they count?

Rudston is actually the largest in the British Isles, followed by Punchestown. There was a 10m tall stone in Co Mayo until the late 1800s.

Well, it does depend on how you define "Mound" I suppose, but David Field did go into this question in some detail in a paper for English Heritage and concluded it was actually the biggest in the world. EH haven't yet caught up with that claim.
