Ahh, I see this particular message stream has been brought forward. This is the opportunity to provide a link or two to the Georgia Guidestones which were brought to my attention by a retired U.S. Airforce officer who was also a nominee for a delegation to a (unofficial) World Government body back in the 90's. One Link and another Very Good Link and of course the other link. There are many more though. I wish I could provide "The" link to the world government organisation but I'll have to "DIG" through my files to find it.
Cheers,
Partlow

Excuse me as I get over my "red facedness", maybe one way I can regain face would be to reiterate the main reason for my entry: Are you familiar with the Georgia Guidestones? They were called to my attention by a retired Lt. Colonel of the Air Force who travels around the world watching birds, etc.
Happy weekend,

Modern Stones are here:

http://www.megalithic.co.uk/search.php?query=&topic=37

and
http://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=My_eGallery&file=index&do=showgall&gid=11

They seem reasonably well labelled to me.

Exactly where is the area for modern circles? There is a modern monolithic array in Georgia (U.S.) called the Georgia Guidestones. This is the focus of many internet sites, both calm and reactionary due to the fact that the inscriptions have a humanitarian theme.

We seem to be getting quite a few photos of modern stones lately - don't know why, perhaps the Stone-hengineers have been busy or perhaps we are reaching saturation point of photos of genuine prehistoric sites in certain areas. Nothing wrong with adding modern stones and we do have a category called "Modern Circles" (better term might be "Modern Stones") However, in order to avoid misleading people, I do think that we should clearly indicate that a site is modern and be very suspicious of new "discoveries" that aren't verified.
