So far I've heard of plans for some walks at Ham Hill 13 and 14 July and 28 and 29 July with caradoc68, something hopefully coming together with the Welsh folks (sem, PAB, cerrig etc) and possibly with Eileen and friends in Lancashire.
The deadline of tomorrow is to get in the printed booklet but they accept submissions to go on the web site up until July and of course the Portal can promote things after this as well as everywhere else online.
So don't let the deadline put you off as there's lots of leeway for advertising something online.
Cheers
Andy

I have left this a bit late but not too late...
The Megalithic Portal is not running a hall based event this year but I hope some of you may be able to run a megalithic / prehistoric guided walk in your area for the CBA FESTIVAL OF ARCHAEOLOGY running between Saturday 13th July – Sunday 28th July 2013
(other dates around this time are OK as well I think)
Walks are quite easy and fun to organise and you should get plenty of participants thanks to the publicity from the CBA and ourselves.
Walks can be anywhere in the UK (or elsewhere come to that but they won't of course be able to go in the UK booklet)
You don't need the full schedule worked out for next week, just a start date, time and location and a brief description of where you are going to run your walk.
If you would like to run under the auspices of the Megalithic Portal Society that would be very welcome, in this case we will be pleased to provide full expenses for the organisers (details to be agreed in advance).
The CBA also offer publicity in their booklet, posters and free public liability insurance for events registered and appearing on the Festival website.

Here are the full details - if you want to run an event with the Portal then please let me know prior to submitting your event and pass the details on to me before the 4th March so I can help with the submission.
Thanks
