A bit up from Allentown and SW of the Delaware Water Gap.
Just a fantastic area. I love it there!
As you can see from my Icon, I am about 300 miles east, on Cape Cod.
Maybe they'll bring this StoneHenge Replica to one or another of our regions.
That would be a treat!

Nazareth, right in the middle between the south and north PA borders, and far enough east to not be far from New Jersey. (not saying that's a good thing)

Hee Hee @ Aluta!
I see my Wizard of Oz riff didn't fall on deaf ears.
I'm sure they'll do a fine job.
btw - where are you in PA? I lived near Williamsport about 10 years ago.

Lol, Feanor, please note that the awarding of "druids" to Stonehenge replicas on the Clonehenge blog is completely tongue-in -cheek, and we have made it clear multiple times that druids did not and could not have erected Stonehenge.
The reason Clonehenge is a humourous rather than serious blog is that this whole craze of building Stonehenges of every size and material seems sometimes vaguely and more often completely ridiculous.
By the way, we have been trying to talk those Stonehenge Tour people in the States into making theirs a bouncy one instead of a foam one. No luck so far. Here's hoping they get the money they need, regardless.
Another Stonehenge replica group worth mentioning is the Henge Collective, who build Stonehenge replicas (ish) for festivals, parties, etc. I believe they are based in Glasgow.
Thank you for the link, Rune!

That's a nice idea, I hope they orient the model properly when it's on display so people can experience the sun and moon in the right places as they see the exhibit.
Out of all the ancient monuments worldwide, Stonehenge seems to capture peoples' imagination in a way no other site does. The latest to do the rounds in Pagan circles has been the bouncy bouncy druids song which was done after the release of the inflatable Stonehenge project http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGowOnmEHBc
If you've not already seen it, Clonehenge is a mine of info about alternative Stonehenge projects, some serious and others not so. http://clonehenge.com/

This looks a bit of fun:
The same passion, courage, and damn near insanity that captured the attention of the original builders has captured ours. We are planning to build it from EPS architectural foam with a hard coat finish.
