Added new link to Geoportail.
I have to enable cookies and select a map type from the Catalogue de données sidebar to see the map. If someone knows an easier way ...

I've found at the FAQ of Géoportail the following statement: Le positionnement en fonction de coordonnées géographiques précises sera disponible sur le Géoportail pour septembre 2012.
Translated by Google: Positioning according to precise geographic coordinates will be available for September 2012 Geoportal.
So waiting for September ...

I'm not sure what's going on here with the links, not working at all well. Might be something to do with "&permalink=yes"? I've no idea. For a while I got it to zoom into the right place but it didn't display anything (expecting it to default to aerial photo view).

I'm still getting this when I click on the Géoportail aeroplane icon.

Presumably it's now working OK - so you just need me to enable the Geoportail link for sites in Spain?
Cheers

LOL, Martyn, I see the faces of a couple of confused megaraks in that URL! I tried the same with an embedded HTML (BBCode?) URL and that didn't work.
Sounds good that Spain is now included.

My links still do not work, but I spent a couple of minutes looking at the new site. Some terriffic upgrades, including old maps, geological maps, and even all of the "land registry" parcelles. So now when we have site information to "parcelle xxx" we can directly find them.
But heres the big one for us megaportal users, it now includes Spanish maps of all scales, so the portals Spanish sites can be directly linked to maps from ign via geoportail.
Spot a few Spanish Dolmens here
http://www.geoportail.gouv.fr/accueil?c=-7.281943918326723,39.415225318577455&z=0.0000572767607334368&l=GEOGRAPHICALGRIDSYSTEMS.MAPS.3D$GEOPORTAIL GC:WMTS@aggregate(1)&l=GEOGRAPHICALGRIDSYSTEMS.IDEE$EXTERNAL GC:EXTERNALWMS(1)&permalink=yes
and you can now draw on the map, measure distance etc etc.
Brilliant
If only the OS were anywhere near as good and helpful as the ign.
