Yes, that's all 1" thick and took me about 18 hours to cut the 2200 pieces for the border and around five days to lay it all, grout, sand and polish it . I guess being as it's stone then that qualifies as 'Megalithic'?
It's all just preparation for the 10 foot square Roman mosaic I am putting in the sun room when I can bring myself to cut the 200,000 or so tessara!

The name is simple, my eldest son is obsessed by frogs and we named our house Frog Cottage. I even made a small mosaic for our porch -

My son too. Every summer here in the countryside of Japan, we get loads of small green frogs, and my 4 year old son has created a small habitat for them, out of a child's pool. My daughter has now also become obsessed with frogs.
It is funny how your kid's hobbies and passions infect you as a parent aye! I have become quite obsessed myself.

I first saw comparisons between psalms an Egyptian hymns in notes at the British museum but simply Googling psalm 104 will get you references to Armana and other psalms are found in both scroll and funerary texts in the area

Wow Micheal that was alot to take in, it took me a couple of reads. I suspect the truth of the matter is that domestication of all animals including camels happened much longer ago then we are willing to believe. Biblical accounts and oral stories are too me equally valid sources. One simply has only to write down inaccurately translated pages of spoken information and voila its set in stone. The Genesis story's origins are surely older then any written account we have deciphered thus far. The story began long before Babylon's first bricks were laid. Ishtar's influences had been well established and she conferred with wise old men long before the city of Babel's gates were rattled. These wise men knew the brothers and husbands and sons and nephews and uncles who followed the teachings of the mother goddess. And they pass the story along.
