Hi Tommy
It was an apology, unreservedly. Thanks for the advice about the cobs.
Best wishes

Hi sem,
Seems like me and you got off on the wrong footing,my first post aswell.
I suppose being told to practice my photo shopping and then emailing me saying ask me if you want any info on the stones "but no micky taking"and then another email accusing me of uploading a fake picture.
Anyway i'll take your previous post as an apology. Thanks for the pint invite but i'm a non drinker, and i'd rather be sewn up in the stomach of a dead cow than have a pint in a Bridgend pub.
Careful you don't get trampled by Tom Price's Welsh Gypsy cobs.
Here's the exif on the photo.
Regards tommytinkroom.

Having just been there at "high noon", this common or garden nutter freely admits that he is wrong. The "photoshopping" appears to have been done by your in-camera system (and possibly the conversion to a low-res image). I tried to replicate your picture but couldn't. Maybe the cowpat I stood in was poetic justice?
PM your tel no and I will buy you a pint as an apology

Both Coflein and Archwilio list them as part of St Cewydd's Church, though why any one would want to destroy the church but leave two stones is beyond me.

Hello
Have had a look on the Coflein site but it's not there. I've sent an enquiry to them just in case they do know anything.

It might be to do with the unsightly black sacks in the background but I don't personally believe in editing such things out. Sem means it in good humour, it's not a 'jibe'. Would you mind resizing your best photo down to 800 x 600 and posting on the site page which we linked to.
Thanks a lot and welcome

Maybe you should practice your photoshopping a little. If you look at CHE from this angle you should see a hedge and a gate, not the proverbial "herds of wildebeest roaming majestically towards Cefn Cribbwr."
Nice pic of the stones though!
