Try Your son with a slight different theory.
Tell him this strange English hobbit is suggesting that gravity doesn't exist, that instead We should think in terms of fields about all in creation, and that fields exist within fields, and then interfere with all other fields especially along pathways that the field flows travel upon in scalar terms.
That the flows contents are varied relative to the interferance imparted upon them as they feed into and back out of each field.
Thus as combined flows are interfered with and resisted in reaching here certain consequences happen, most noteably the seasons of the year.

This interferance could be causing the financial uncertantities, and there are graphs that correspond, so this could explain why You are not able to send said 100 bucks just now.
