Pagan Federation North East Convention - The Swarthmore Education Centre, Woodhouse Square, Leeds , on September the 4th.
(I saw a sneak preview of the presentation at the Bradford megalithic meet - it's well worth catching)

Alan Garner's Thurs*****. Join Andy Roberts on a guided walk around
Cheshire's 'valley of the demon', to explore the landscape myths and
mysteries, the standing stones, paranormal activity and other weirdness
featured in Alan Garner's latest novel (reviewed in NE9 . Walk length 7-10
miles, fairly strenuous. Meet Pym Chair car park (OS 99576 near
Macclesfield, 10.30 am, Sat., Sept. 11th. Bring packed lunch, appropriate
