think you are right Andy. It all went haywire after the problems, during which I had seemingly saved a slightly different version of the site. It seemed to all work again after I clicked the Home button and saw that the proper site had returned. Using this again it all works Hunky Dory.

Sem,
That one is showing OK for me - is anyone else having this problem?
Large gallery images do seem slow to load in busy periods due to the limitations of our link to the outside world so maybe they are timing out sometimes. The rest of the site seems faster to me most of the time though due to having our own server.

Martyn,
I think you may have been looking at an old copy. Make sure any bookmarks you are using start with http://www.megalithic.co.uk
Cheers,
Andy

Sem,
Sometimes the thumbnails for the newly posted photos don't get created immediately, until someone views the main picture. Was it one of these?
Cheers,
Andy

Like you Captain,I know *&^%$ about computers,so having read your comments I found pics that were xxxed out.I then clicked on one and lo and behold the full picture appeared. When I went back to the previous page the small version was there in view.
There must be a morale to this story but I'm damned if I can find one.
Keep clicking

It has always happened with me here, but not very frequently, so I've just looked on it as a glitch at the time. Perhaps it warrants looking at if others have it happen more.

Cheers

is it just me, or is there something wrong with the newly reborn portal whereby the pictures dont show ? All I seem to get is the little red cross in a box, or a .jpg icon since about Thursday. Now I have to admit to knowing nothing about this spoddy computer stuff, and if it dont work by the third time I click it, I give up.

Just wondering whether its me or a general problem.

Martyn
