Interesting, thanks. All the time ebay can command most of the buyer's eyes they can ask what fees they think they can get away with (sadly)

I don't mind the fees - 13% inclusive of Paypal is reasonable. It's eBays star ratings for feedback that customers leave that are causing problems. Anything lower than five stars left by the customers is ruining alot of sellers businesses as eBay restricts the selling account. eBay aren't wanting the small sellers on there anymore. They want to turn the site into an Internet Mall

Some good books there.............tempting. I wonder if Paul would notice a couple more books on the shelves?

Can I stick a link to your Amazon books onto my book website when it is up & Running in a couple of weeks time? You never know it may generate a few more sales

Hello, thanks, I've had a look. It makes a nice change from ebay but do you actually sell anything on there?

Hi Andy - A quick update.

Yes, the books do sell on eBid. They were exceptionally slow to start with (don't give up the day job) we sold 1 in the first two months but it has really picked up in the last 2 months, we have nearly sold three!

In the same period of time, we have sold over 300 books on eBay
eBid it will pick up more as eBay are making more unrealistic demands from it sellers.

We will get to Scotland by pension age - Hopefully!

Hi there Andy - We have only just started to list books on there, so we will get back to you and let you how the sales go compared to eBay.

We have still got some books listed for sale on eBay too but there FVF's are alot more expensive. Ebid's for us is only 2% & paypal is not compulsory either.

We have still got alot of rare archaeology, history, local history, witchcraft, occult books yet to list so please keep checking.

Hello - Just thought some people might be interested in some of the history, archaeology & folklore books that I'm selling, on the free auction site - eBid - here:

http://uk.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?words=879826&category2=3&categoryid=3&categoryonly=on&mo=search&type=user

Most of the books are FREE postage (to UK only).

Thanks - Mikki
