The square and circle combine in the Turoe stone (circular) amid the 4 kingdoms of Eire, as with the Stone of Scone. That (alleged) Stone in Scotland in Perthshire was amid the 4 Provinces of the Ulster descendants, as with Forteviot stone chamber with a possible phallus. The Kermaria erection exposes the 4 sided nature of the cosmos.
The 4 stones are mutually consistent.

An astounding example of equal chances for all those possibilities can be found in the last English publication of the deceased M.Gimbutas - "The Living Goddesses" (Univ. of Chicago Press; 2001), p. 37. It comes from the Starcevo culture (Hungary) and has been dated to 5600 - 5300 BCE. The figure has additionaly a bird predator incised over her VULVA, which can lead back to vultures of the Catal huyuk culture. Male features are as if secondary. "Fig.31. I was recalling those things, when WALKING around the Mount of Sphinx (Fagas Oros) in Boeotia (Viotia), two days ago. I was just looking for the place around that mountain, at which initiation of the sacred kings of Thebes used to be performed. Oedipus came from that town and so did I. I came with the Theban Mavromati - bus along the road Athens - Livadia to the Vigla exit. There were still around 4 kms by foot to get at the Sphinx Mt. perimeter. The chapel of the Source of Life, I found there, I`ve described in the "shamen-globally acting" thread.
But it was not enough for me; I wanted to find the place, where the PRIMAEVAL IDEA of a sacred king meeting the Warden of the Source of Life - was still hanging in the thin air. Starting information was that Herodotos in his (?) "Shield" ascribed the Presence of Zeus to the top of that mountain. Then; in the result of a right answer given by Oedipus to the famous Sphinx question about the two-, three- and the four-legged human being, She threw herself down but imo not to commit the mythical suicide. That could have been rather a later-time explanation (aition), why the Sphinx - as the Black Goddess, was revered down there and not higher up the slopes, where her lair
(or layer) belonged!?
When going further on towards Kastro Davlosis (Medea - Town of the Ruleress, acc. to some archaeologists), I reached the spot, where the mountain top (Zeus Presence) came to dominate over the "parted thighs" of the Sphinx goddess. And whoops... where`s me and where`s the product of their UNION!? ... All material and verbal expressions of such an experience seem invalid. A living ancient "ex -stasis" would be still within our reach!?
