Might be worth checking with Andy first if your posting is going to involve "alternative" stuff (but only if, obviously). I presume he created the Mysteries forum for that sort of posting and may not want it elsewhere.

I remember once posting a comment about a barrow just up the road from myself , and andy did seem a little annoyed.

I was only going to comment about the alignment of the barrow with cam peak, which looks for all the world like silburys twin.

Next time I am down that way I will check if and where the exact alignment is in relationship to cam peak and longdown hill, if they are there I will mark it out and then they can be checked.

Do-it-yourself experiment ( with a little help from yours friends...): 1) get a few people ,and two L-shaped pieces of wire.Let each of them will go a few steps while holding wires in hands.Get those which wires will crossing.
2)Let each of selected examine with wires the same way, remembering (not marking!) points in which the wires crossed.
3)Compare results.

Albertresonox,
It does indeed "Go on"
Sorry if You wanted to party at my leaving, and I have dissappointed by staying.

Bizzarely I went to Uley long barrow today, hetty peglers tump, and the first thing I see on here is a reference to it.

I don't normally comment on such places, but the whole area , especially cam peak and long down hill has caught my attention, how does one post a commenmt on that part of the portal? I puzzled it, you go past the pictures until You reach the comments.

Probably quite funny a lot of the time...but honest all the time, without being rude, but constant rudeness aimed at me personally could certainly change that, especially that from a liar and one without the courage of his own convictions...
"Goodbye to all upon here.
From my point of view good riddance to the ones who know I mean them.
To everyone else all the very best for the future, however bizzare it will be.
As I have just asked Andy B in the stones part, I will repeat here, please remove my ability to post upon here ever again.
I am tolerated by nobody.
Kevin"
...and yet it goes on

"One such relationship is that some barrow cemeteries are located in the "V" of palaeochannels, or near springs. Neolithic Causewayed enclosures also seem to have some form of relationship to spring locations. Barrows also have topographic patterns, such as they are (not always but sufficient to have a pattern) located just below the crest of hills rather than on the crest itself. Chambered tombs are located in relation to river valleys and in central Europe some barrows are related to prehistoric route ways and harbours."

This is what excites me at the moment Karloff, hence my post entitled 'Fairy holes'. Every tumulus I have visited locally, (and there are many as you know) are directly linked to subterranean water courses and to what some term as 'blind wells'. I've talked to enough land owners, workers, farmers, well diggers and bore hole drillers to build up a pretty good picture of what lies beneath the grass of SW Dorset. It's like a great big 'Aero Bar' where I am, and a lot of them holes are filled with water. Depending on the moon phase, I've sat with others and watched those finger like figures dance upon those Fairy hills. I did the same on shrooms once and I was shocked!
