I am currently researching family from Aberdeenshire. Their surname is Gillan which would appear to have changed from Gellan in the late 1700's early 1800's. I am aware that the family were resident in the Aberdeenshire area for hundreds of years. I note North Gellan on this site and wonder if anybody has any information or images of the site. Specifically an approximate date.
If so I would be grateful for any information they may have.
