Ha, ha, he has been reading all of those writing-advice books that tell you to go out and be aggressive about your marketing, trying any avenue you can think of, letting the other person be the one to question whether it's appropriate. Really it's just one step above spamming (if that).
You know you are doing well, Andy, or they wouldn't want your help!

Another of the strange things I get sent!
My son Kameron and I've been visiting your site regularly and really are fascinated by what you post. I especially was interested in the fabulous archaeological images and details you investigated time after time. How would modern humans interact with prehistoric life, and how we have so few heroes left today?
That's why I'm writing. I'm an award-winning novelist who has a book out about how heroes are the rage of the future and heroes inspire time-honored heroic values—it’s sexy to be good and the adventurous don’t need drugs to get high. The story I created takes place in an ancient, primordial world, and it explored extensively how humans not merely survived the prehistoric giants but become their brothers. I think your readers would be interested in Tophero: Son of Smilodon and I'd be happy to offer you an e-serial or an excerpt of the book as well as one copy to give to one of your readers.
Tophero: Son of Smilodon was featured in Playboy as a "grand interplanetary epic" and the book was an award-winning finalist in the YA category of the USA Book News Best Books 2007 Award. It's also been reviewed in many other venues, and you can read all those here at http://www.TopHero.com.
Here are selected reviews and accolades:

A heady blend of Conan the Barbarian, science-fiction archetypes, monstrous prehistoric beasts, and intrigues among fictional billionaires (who live in Montecito!), Tophero, Son of Smilodon: Jungle Lord of the New Millennium might just be the most action-packed entertainment you will find outside a movie theater. --The Independent--Thursday, September 27, 2007, by Elena Gray-Blanc

The author tapped into an ancient yearning for the wild part of ourselves to find expression and release...
W.W. Ni has imagined this world so thoroughly, his powers of description are formidable, and his research is outstanding. When I wasn’t reading the book, I found myself daydreaming about the characters, and felt a constant tickle of curiosity about what would happen next. This is a fascinating story, and I congratulate this talented writer. --Lois Gilbert is the author of River of Summer (Penguin-Putnam, 1999), Without Mercy (NAL Dutton, 2000,) and Returning to Taos (Five Star, 2006) as well as dozens of published articles, reviews and essays. Her work has been translated into German, Russian and Italian.

I loved it! You have an original concept that is amazing. Keep up the great work!

After reading the last sentence of your book I was already curious about how Tophero would do on earth. Your book was immensely entertaining, and was a fun fantasy to indulge in. I struggled a little in trying to learn the different characters in later chapters, but it all came together in the end. Thank you very much for your literary gift to us. When is Volume 2 coming out? --Dexter Ko, Isla Vista Book Store Manager, UC Santa Barbara, California

...A terrific idea. Part Tarzan, part space odyssey, part medieval epic, part crime novel, and part love story, it has something for everyone. Again, you have a very fruitful concept in Tophero--a yarn that mixes the prehistoric past, the present, and a space-age future--and you deliver it with obvious excitement and energy. --Peter Gelfan, Editor, Editorial Department, Inc., New York
I would love to put a free e-serial or an excerpt of Tophero on your website. Tophero dovetails the essence of your site, and it could bring more traffic and attract more subscribers to join your site.
Please advice. Thank you for your considerations.
Bravo Tophero!
Very truly yours,
