This is possibly a separation of a religion's "folklore" and its tenents of belief. I've been in a heck of a lot of churches that are aligned with the building lot dimensions and orientations. The modern world is rife with churches and mosques that set up "wherever two or more are gathered."

Yes there has been a certain amount of cannibalization of churches to mosques and vice versa.
I'd be interested to know if considerations are given to where newly built churches and mosques are built in terms of any metaphysical considerations such as energy lines etc.

Surely no thing can be taken unless relinquished? We regularly give our powers away in one of two ways, and often both at the same time. When we fall in Love, and when we are fearfull. I guess that's most of the time for most folk.

Power is not bad at all, it has different sides and its gives abilities, it seems people made it bad.
Honestly I was surprise that site important for Pagans was left unprotected by them. Any really practising Witch convent can do the job.

In many cases mosque was build upon rubbles of church and vice versa. And the reason for it - there are not many places of power left unclaimed. So it is question of power after all. More places religion can cover – more power it gains.

I reckon what the Church of the New Pagan should be doing is building its own sacred sites, since sense of place seems so important to it (if you could get the dowsers to agree on where to place it).
