You can also use 'BBCode' but only in the forum at the moment, I should get this applied to story comments too:

(url=www.oldstones.com)Link to oldstones(/url)

You have to replace my ) brackets with ] brackets as it won't let me type them

Let's just test that: totalgeek.org

Click the 'BBCode' link below the message reply box for more codes you can use.

We have a green 'URL' button below the posts which should do this job but I've realised it isn't working (doh!). All the other buttons seem to work, I'll have a look.

Put it in as an HTML link.

For example

<a href="http://www.oldstones.com">Link to oldstones</a>.

Replace the bit between the quotes with your long address.
