One I didn't get to in time so will post here just for reference - is anyone going to this?
Anyone interested in Derbyshire's ancient past should go along to the
county's annual Archaeology Day on Saturday, January 13. The series
of talks will include Dr John Barnatt, senior survey archaeologist
with the Peak District National Park Authority. His lecture, Gardom's
Edge Revisited, will delve into the Bronze Age settlements that lie
within the Peak Park. Other topics will include the possibility of
prehistoric remains at Great Hucklow and medieval Derbyshire parks
The event, from 9.30am to 5.15pm, will be at the Pomegranate
Theatre in Chesterfield (Derbyshire, England). The cost is £8, £4
concessions, and pre-booking is recommended on 01246 345727.
This is Derbyshire
