Thanks for the advice! I'll see if I can find it again when I head down there next week!

By far the easiest route I've found is to take the footpath south from Eagles Nest (at SW468387). This takes you almost straight to Sperris, and looking across to the right, Zennor can easily be seen.
Best to go when the gorse and bracken is low though!

If you have a look further down on the Zennor quoit site page (click this link) amongst the comments there are various discussions of how to get to Zennor Quoit, general consensus is - its not straightforward!
I went up there last year and found it. Parked at Zennor (easier in the evenings during summer holidays) walked towards Zennor Hill up to the main road, turned left and walked along the main road for a short while then took the signposted footpath to the right off the road. Followed this path for some distance and at some point (after you've walked across a little square green field) turned left and walked up the side of Zennor Hill following a well trodden path. When you're at all the huge granite boulders on the summit head for the big rocks on the end looking out to sea. There is a gate nearby leading out of the fenced area on the summit. Turn right and follow a path - it has drystone walls on either side, leading roughly southeast. You pass "The Carne" on your right, a wooden hut. Keep going along the path with the drystone walls on either side and eventually on your right you will see the quoit, through a gap in the wall. (I didn't have time to find Sperris Quoit, the light was failing).
It helped to have an orange Ordnance Survey map (and the ability to read it of course). If you want I can waymark the route I described above using local.live.com so that you can follow it from an aerial viewpoint.

Sorry if I'm in wrong forum or if someone's already posted about this...
Could someone tell me where i went wrong please?
We stopped in little parking area just after the entrance to Tremedda farm. Walked all the way to the top of Zennor hill, til we found a fenced area, but we searched and could not find it. We must have come very close to it and not seen it. When we walked back down, we went along to the road to see if there was another way up there, but all we found was this thing that looked like a quarry that was full of rubbish.
Got a good view of Carn Galver, but it was a shame not to find either of the quoits.
Was I in the right direction, or is there an easier way to get to it?
