Just been out to Denbigh castle - St Hilary's church (13th -14th century). Only the tower survives but you could make out the outlines of the church walls on the grass: grass was a different shade of yellow, and that's the view from the ground.

With probably the hottest and driest summer since at least 1976, can we expect a bumper season for crop marks showing from aerial photography?
There must be some benefit from all this lack of rain!
