Cadwgan Hall Mound isn't prehistoric, it's a motte.

Can someone help me? Not far from Wrexham there's a large tumulus. It has grid ref SJ298487 and is right next to Offa's dyke, by Cadwgan hall. Allegedly it was excavated late 18th century and a suit of armour was supposedly found - although I don't think anyone knows where the armour is. Now it's not marked on the OS map as a tumulus and the CADW guide book for clwyd and powys doesn't mention it (it does in actuality - mea culpa, ed). Plus its not got a mention on this site either. However on an old OS map (1910) it was marked as a tumulus. Does anyone know anything about this site and its antiquity?
