If you're traveling in Ohio on June 21, the following sites will host solstice events. Site managers or special lecturers will be there and the sites will be open either before or after usual hours.
At Fort Ancient the rising sun is aligned with major gateways in the enclosure.
At Serpent Mound the setting sun falls beyond the serpent's head in alignment with the body.
