5 - Can be driven to. Full access for the disabled / sites such as barrows that can be seen from the road and are best viewed from a distance anyway.

4 - Accessed by a short walk on a footpath

3 - on a footpath but requiring a bit more of a walk

2 - On private land where permission should be sought to visit

1 - In the middle of nowhere, not on a footpath and a nightmare to find.

0 - no data

5 - Perfect

4 - Almost Perfect

3 - Reasonable but with some damage - e.g stone circle with half the stones missing

2 - ruined but still recognisable as an ancient site eg ploughed barrow or stone circle with only one stone

1 - sites that destroyed on the ground but visible as soil / crop marks

0 - no data

-1 completely destroyed, no traces left at all
