Ancient Markawasi Stone Forest - Peru Remnants of a Vanished Civilization?
The Markawasi plateau mapped and written about in the 1950's by Peruvian explorer and philosopher, Dr. Daniel Ruzo, is squarely attributed to the field of forbidden archaeology.
Legendary for its gigantic anthropomorphic and zoomorphic stones dating back thousands of years before the Great Flood, the plateau sits at an altitude of over 12,000 feet above sea level, reached by a trek on foot or horseback along a steep path from the tiny village of San Pedro, located on the western Andean ridge of Peru.
Known to Andean shamans as a place "beyond the veil of time," legends of mysterious anomalous phenomenon are not uncommon to this ethereal landscape.
Surrounded by hundreds of sculptures at a towering twenty-five meters high, with fourteen anthropomorphic figures of four different races, "The “Monument to Humanity,” is the most important sculptured work that exists on the earth today!” - Dr. Daniel Ruzo.

Friends of Friendless Churches We have campaigned since our inception in 1957 for the preservation of ancient and beautiful but redundant churches. We now own 38 former places of worship, half in England, half in Wales, which we have saved from demolition, decay and unsympathetic conversion. Friends of St Nectan's Glen Saint Nectan's Glen is an area of woodland in Trethevy near Tintagel, north Cornwall stretching for around one mile along both banks of the Trevillet River. The Glen's most prominent feature is Saint Nectan's Kieve, a spectacular sixty foot waterfall. It is spectacular and we believe it should be preserved for future generations in it's pristine state and we are in the process now of making an offer thanks to one major investor to the Charity, as we're concerned about the future of this sacred site to keep it as a sacred place of pilgrimage for all to enjoy.
