Found a small P.stone in my garden whilst digging out for a pond.
We are situated about 50-60 yards from the route of a Roman road.
i was always under the impression that these stones were used as track markers before the Romans came here. Here, by the way (so to speak!) is on the S.E. side of Braintree close to Freeport Shopping Village
Something is not right. This message is just to keep things from messing up down the road
