This zoomorphic hill formation has scree deposits indicating prehistoric enhancement of its features. Nearby are ancient graves and signs of settlement. The hill is one of several in Azerbaijan that appears to have animal like features indicating that zoomorphism could have been a common animistic belief system in the megalithic period. </description>

The Gaval Dash is an ancient natural musical stone which can only be found in Gobustan, Azerbaijan. This region is famous for having the oldest petroglyphs known.  Gobustan National Park is a World Heritage site.  Among the stone books there is a big flat stone formed out of 3 supports.</description>
