. Museum in the Cathedral City of Die, Drome, at the northern end of the Rue de Bufardel. The Diois, of which Die is the main town, was the home of the Celtic tribe the Voconces, who had their capital at Luc en Diois, the former Lucus Augusti – the Latin word lucus signifying sacred grove. The museum is rich in Gallo Roman remains, and has a few interesting galleries with adequate interpretation; but many of the objects are stored in outhouses with no explanation of their provenance or dates.
