Third highest mountain in Wales and a cairn graces its summit. This could possibly be the highest cairn in Britain, its certainly the highest bronze age cemetery in Britain. Almost everything about this place is awesome, the cairn could be better but with views like this who cares.

Just below and to the south west of carnedd Dafydd , the fourth highest mountain in Wales is this fine cairn, magnificently placed , and with stupendous views. Slightly scooped out in the middle, by treasure seekers or weather weary walkers.
A long long walk, but easy to find.

The eighth highest mountain in Wales is Foel Grach and it has a cairn on top. If it isn't lost in clouds or being blasted by the wind this is an excellent place to sit and contemplate the universe. Or if there is bad weather a handy shelter is close by with walls and a roof. Handy.
