]]>Hamish F turns his attention (and kite) to Dun Mhaigh. Broch in the Highlands. Situated on a rocky knoll rising from the northern end of a ridge that divides the valley of the Kyle of Tongue into two. On the west side of the broch is cliff that drops away 15 metres.

Bronze Age cupmarks carved into rocks have been found on twenty-eight separate sites on Swordale Hill outside Evanton. The remains of an enclosed henge have also been found on the hill�s Druim Mor ridge, which is also the location of a chambered cairn. (see our nearby sites list)
