Broch in the Highlands. Situated on a rocky knoll rising from the northern end of a ridge that divides the valley of the Kyle of Tongue into two. On the west side of the broch is cliff that drops away 15 metres.</description>

Bronze Age cupmarks carved into rocks have been found on twenty-eight separate sites on Swordale Hill outside Evanton. The remains of an enclosed henge have also been found on the hill’s Druim Mor ridge, which is also the location of a chambered cairn. (see our nearby sites list)</description>
