Ancient Settlement in Sandolval County, New Mexico.A cliff dwelling 140 feet above the floor of the canyon in a natural alcove.  In addition to dwelling and storage rooms, there was a large turkey pen and a kiva.  The kiva has been reconstructed on location.</description>

Ancient Settlement in Sandolval COunty, New Mexico.This row of pueblo rooms backed against the cliff wall, where additional rooms were enlarged or created in the soft volcanic tuff.  Beam holes and carved supports in the cliff indicate that most of this pueblo had two stories.</description>

Ancient Settlement in Sandolval COunty, New Mexico.The pueblo was constructed 1383AD through 1466AD (tree ring dating from roof beams.) The outer ring of rooms originally reached to three stories.  Three kivas were built within the circular structure, one of which is excavated.  A larger Great Kiva lies to the south west, down canyon.</description>

Ancient Village or Settlement in Upshur County, Texas.One of a cluster of Caddo villages along Kelsey Creek.  Excavations in the 1990's prior to the building of a dam and reservoir found house sites, ceramics, stone and bone tools, and some burial locations.  The burial locations had been looted at some time in the past.</description>
