<description>. St Patrick's holy well/sacred spring is to be found 2 miles to the south-west of Clonmel and half a mile east of Marlfield - just off the N27 Clonmel to Cahir road. It is located at an early Christian site in a somewhat  secluded glen beside a ruined 17th century church. In the middle of the sacred healing pool stands an early Christian cross.</description>

Early Christian Sculptured Stone in Co. Waterford. In the ruins of St Declan's Cathedral at Ardmore are two 5th century pillar-stones with the Ogham script - the ancient Irish alphabet. Stone no 1 (illustrated) stands at just over 4 feet high.</description>

<title>Bronze Age Urn Discovered</title>

An exciting archaeological find dating to c.1700 B.C. was unearthed by licensed archaeologist, Orla Scully during test excavations on the Airport Road Realignment (R708) at Monamintra crossroads on Tuesday the 15th of May. The find comprises of an early Bronze Age collared urn burial, which contains the cremated remains of at least two individuals, a child and an adult. </description>

Burial Chamber (Dolmen) in Co. Waterford. This attractive neolithic tomb is situated five miles from Waterford city. It consists of two east-facing portal stones with a blocking door between and a chamber behind comprised of three other uprights. The various uprights support a large capstone some 4.2 metres in length.</description>
