This is one of the most beautiful standing stones I have seen and in one of the most beautiful settings! 
The stone is located on a small mound (probably a barrow) called &quot;Hellehaugen&quot;. It is around 5 metres in diameter and around 0.5 metres in height. The mound itself is of no notable size, but the stone on top is really making it notable!</description>

They have been restored in later years and are covered only with short grass and are easy to see. From this location there is a beautiful view over the sea.</description>

In the burial ground in Vereide there have been recorded nearly 200 burials dating from the Late Bronze Age to the Iron Age.</description>

<title>Myklebust Round Barrows</title>

In the small village of Nordfjordeid at an old farm site called Myklebust are two large round barrows. They are called &quot;Rundehogen&quot; and &quot;Skjoratippen&quot;.  Rundehogen is 30 metres in diameter and around 4 metres in height.  Skjoratippen is 32 metres in diameter and 4 metres in height. The site had originally 5 mounds, but three mounds have been lost in later years. In the Rundehogen, the famous Myklebust ship was found.</description>

This impressive standing stone is around 4.5 metres tall and very slender. Width is around 1 metre at the base, but in a height of 1 metre the stone narrows and the width reduces to only around 0,3m. </description>
