Ta' Lambert Stones

. Stone Row / Alignment in Gozo. These six stones are to be found in a field next to the heliport near the eponymous cart ruts. The stones are up to about 1.5 metres across and together they form an arc about 5 metres long. The southernmost stone is more slab-like than its companions but has fallen flat. At least 2 of the 4 apparently smaller stones appear to be set deep in the ground and although the site has never been excavated they may well be more stones completely buried. The field has much evidence of occupation and these stones are likely to have formed part of a much larger megalithic structure.
