]]>White Horse stone again vandalised, this time with red painted 'runes'. Remains of Chambered Tomb in Kent. This is a large Sarsen 2.4m x 1.5m, resembling a "horse", with other scattered sarsen stones tomb remnants.

]]>Henge discovered beneath the North Downs. A ring ditch 49m across that has been excavated to confirm it is a henge. The site is located in a ploughed field and little remains besides crop marks.

]]>Morris dancing at Kits Coty, Bluebell Hill and the Coldrum stones at dawn on May 1st.. Kits Coty House, dated to between 4300 and 3000 BC, is one of the best known megaliths in Britain. It is accessed by a track at the junction of the Pilgrims Way and Rochester Road. There is no charge to view Kits Coty but the stones themselves are fenced off by a nasty iron railing to "protect" them from the public.
