The ATC began over 25 years ago as a school project with the building of an Iron Age roundhouse based on archaeological evidence. It now has six full sized reconstructions of ancient buildings.</description>

Only a few hundred yards from Kingston Russell Stone circle lies this lovely round barrow, it has some slight erosion on the sides but stands a good 3 Meters high.</description>

A quarry for the stones used in the several megalithic sites within
about 5 miles of the valley. The Valley of Stones has been a National Nature Reserve since 1999. The English Nature noticeboard on site mentions that, as well as all the
stones which are haphazardly arranged due to a geological event, some of
them are arranged as a circle.</description>

Ancient Settlement in Dorset. Ringmoor Settlement, Turnworth, Dorset is an ancient settlement or farmstead on the side of Bulbarrow Hill. It is located on a bridleway and the site is owned by the National Trust. It has not been greatly excavated but is usually described as Iron Age and occupied by the Durotriges. It is about 130 acres in extent, there is a pond at the top, a banked track leading to a circular banked enclosure, and a number of field enclosures also indicated by banks. </description>
